Review of the Chipping Sodbury Golf Day - 4th June
A cool and blustery day welcomed the golfers at the beautiful Chipping Sodbury Golf Club for Denty's first testimonial golf day. The course looked in amazing condition for what proved to be an enjoyable day's golf.
The overall competition results were:
1st Place: iO Associate team
2nd Place: Chipping Sodbury GC team
3rd Place: Team consisting of Tony Wright, Andy Stovold and Mike Smith
There were plenty of prizes on offer throughout the day, including a 4ball voucher at The Manor House Golf Club for the longest drive, a Hagley West watch for nearest to the pin, a 6 O'Clock gin and Korev lager bundle for 'nearest to the gin', and further 4ball vouchers at The Manor House for the long putting and yellow ball competitions.

Review of the Opening Dinner - 7th March 2024
The opening dinner was a massive success with over 160 people in attendance. It was wonderful to so many people out on a Thursday night to support Denty. This a testimony to how much he is valued as a cricketer and person in Gloucestershire.
The evening was expertly hosted by Former Welsh rugby international, Craig Quinnell, who kept everyone entertained and ensured the event ran smoothly. Craig conducted an entertaining Q&A with former Gloucestershire player Martyn Ball and the new head coach and former Glos player and captain, Mark Alleyne.
Denty was humbled by the number of people who came to support the official opening of his testimonial year. Lots of players and officials from his first club, Cleeve CC and from his current club, Thornbury CC came to support him. In addition, representatives from other cricket clubs in Bristol, current and former players and coaches at Gloucestershire and businesses who are supporting the testimonial year also formed part of a packed house.
